I have recently adopted Spyder3Studio, and find it invaluable. I require complete control within my own workflow; and the one area where I did not have that control was profiling. With the Spyder3 products a fully color managed workflow has been achieved. Starting off with a calibrated monitor using Spyder3Elite, then using Spyder3Print to profile my papers and inksets, I can produce prints that totally satisfy.
I go directly to the expert mode, and appreciate the various inputs that allow the user to generate different profile mixes from the same target measurements. My prints now hold the subtle separations in the files and keep the shadow areas true, all being accurately represented when soft-proofing in Photoshop. Some of my abstract work is difficult to print, heavy on soft tonal transitions and areas of subtle hue shifts. They have rarely worked well with any profile I had previously tried. I use a variety of non OEM paper, and now profile them all using this little gem.
"...Anyhow, I calibrated my monitor, got my PrintFix chart into PS (eventually) and built a profile, printed a test image and WOW, I was 'gobsmacked!' It had a slight green cast which I fixed over the next couple of prints with DoctorPRO and I now have a spot on print profile. I'm impressed. I had used reams of Epson paper over the past 12 months to try and get a decent print match, I had resorted to printing only in classic mode in PS because it was the only way to get decent print results..."

Per our conversation at Macworld SF, I'm writing to you about what your calibration products have done for my business and workflow. You may recall that I told you that my partner and I were in frequent conflict over the way images I processed looked. He was complaining that the images I sent him had bad color and contrast on his system, when they looked fine on mine. This was compounded in that he uses NT and Linux, while I'm on a Mac. Also, I had inconsistent color when printing photos, both digital and scanned.
Both of these ongoing problems were solved when I read a review of your ColorVision calibration products in "Photoshop User" Magazine, and decided to go ahead with the ColorVision RGB Suite/Spyder USB
Mac, including both monitor and printer software. Your products have done everything claimed for them: I now get good, consistent color between my screen and printouts, plus the problem with my partner's system seeing images differently no longer exists. We are on the same page now, and life is easier.
I found your software easy to use and intuitive. Your software walked me through the process painlessly, and the results are gratifying. I enjoyed watching the software put the monitor through the different color levels used to form the profile. Thanks to ColorSync and your products, I now have consistent, accurate system-wide color!
I learned something interesting using the printer RGB Profile software: I had been using third-party ink in my Epson 900, and, even after calibrating, I was not happy with the color. When I switched back to Epson inks, I was astonished at the differences in the printed-out calibration patterns-the third-party checkerboard was quite a bit greener in overall color cast! I now use Epson inks only.Thank you for an easy-to-use, affordable, accurate product that solves a real problem!

As an amateur digital photographer, I have had some difficulty making the prints from my Epson SP1200 match what I see on the screen in Photoshop. I've used Adobe Gamma for monitor calibration and tried various printer profiles and settings, and frequently ended up printing a proof copy, adjusting curves, and reprinting the final copy... a tedious and expensive process at best.
After calibrating my monitor and printer with ColorVision RGB Suite 1, every print has been perfect the first time (at least to my old eyes). Well worth the modest price.
Thanks.

I'm sitting at my studio computer absolutely in shock after calibrating my modest HP Office jet that I use for proofing. After calibrating, the print actually matched the monitor. This is a dream come true. After 6 years of attempting to correct every image with a printer curves compensation layer in Photoshop, I just printed the image with the printer profile developed by the Profiler RGB product and voila, the print matched the screen! You just can't imagine what a relief it is to see a beautiful proof instead of a muddy mess.
I also used the PhotoCal software and spyder to calibrate the dual monitors (different brands) that I run off the same computer for Photoshop imaging. Every time they start up, I still stare at the desktop image that comes up on both of them. Miraculously it looks the same on both monitors. All this is hard to believe.
Thanks for making all these solutions available to us that were previously far beyond the reach of the small studio!
I just wanted to write and tell you how incredible your products are! I recently purchased your RGB Suite 1, and it was so easy to calibrate my monitor and printer! I had a little trouble getting RGB Profiler to work, but George Rodart from tech support provided me with excellent assistance, and now everything works perfectly. Thank you so much for finally making color calibration available to us freelancers!
Sincerely,
