Photoshop Tip
Color Adjustment after Display Calibration

Photoshop offers color settings in which you can define which color profiles should be used as standard. Occasionally these settings cause confusion regarding calibration of the display.

To clarify:
The Spyder profile is generated solely for the purpose of linearizing the screen colors. Thus it is made uniquely for the color management of your computer which will work with it automatically. For this reason, this profile should on no account be stored as standard color setting in Photoshop.

In conclusion:
You should continue to work as usual within the RGB color spaces in Photoshop etc. We normally recommend the color space "AdobeRGB(1998)".
