Friend with Vision:
Lukasz Wolejko-Wolejszo

The photos by this international fashion and advertising photographer, who is based in Berlin, are characterized by their romantic and sensual look.

The young photographer was born in Bydgoszcz (Poland) and spent most of his life in Germany, where he attended school and graduated. He draws his inspiration from music and his learning stage in Paris. His customers appreciate the authentic and uninhibited charisma of the models in his pictures. The line between enactment and snapshot seems very narrow. Along with a cinematic visual language, he also captures emotion in his pictures. Anyone who thinks that only people can have their picture taken in this way are proven wrong when Lukasz manages to stage objects with the same style. Our "Friend with Vision" knows how to convey the fact that the identity of a brand is always associated with the transfer of emotions. Therefore national and international agencies and magazines belong to his database of clients.

You can find more information and pictures on his website.

Lightroom Tip
Soft Proofing now available in Lightroom 4

A new feature, important for photographers, has been added to Lightroom 4: Soft Proofing. Soft proofing is needed whenever you want to view and adjust an image for output to a specific printer; or if you want to see what an image would look like on a standard-gamut (sRGB) monitor, from your wide gamut display.

Choose your image in the "library" mode, and change to the "develop" mode. A "Soft Proofing" checkbox will appear in the toolbar below the picture (1 in illustration). One click and the corresponding options will show up below the histogram (2 in illustration). Now you can choose the desired profile, select a Rendering Intent - and you are finished. Even the simulation of paper tone and ink saturation is displayed.

Please keep an eye on the SpyderBlog for a comprehensive article on Lightroom Softproofing by David Saffir, which should be posted there within the next month.
