     Calibration solution for the iPad

With SpyderGallery, users no longer need to compromise colour accuracy for the convenience of the iPad. For owners of Datacolor's Spyder3 display calibration solutions, the free app provides an easy-to-use calibration utility that creates a custom colour profile on their iPad. Using the Spyder3, the app will measure and profile colour and then apply colour correction to images displayed through the SpyderGallery. Viewing images through the colour-managed viewer, will allow for more accurate colours and provide users with a closer match to desktop monitors and other colour-managed displays. SpyderGallery enables photographers to use the iPad as a truly portable portfolio tool.

"I've been using Datacolor products for over ten years, and the same calibration perfection I get with my monitor I now get on my iPad. That's amazing." - Sarah Silver, NY based fashion & beauty photographer.

The SpyderGallery iPad app is available for free download on the Apple App Store.

Toscana Photographic Workshops (TPW)

The Toscana Photographic Workshop has reached its 18th edition. What makes TPWs workshops special is the way that students, staff and teachers interact during the week, sharing day-to-day life, coming together during the meals and staying at the same hotel. The teachers at TPW are considered as some of the top professionals in contemporary photography including photojournalists from National Geographic, New York Times and Newsweek, as well as from important agencies like Magnum, VII, NOOR, VU. In addition, the workshop participants are limited to 14 per class, to guarantee a smooth process.

The summer classes will take place at TPW's new centre in Cortona, on the hills south of Arezzo, close to major art sites in Tuscany. This year's workshop highlight is a closer look behind the scenes of the most famous horse race in the world, the Palio in Siena. For information on classes and availability, please visit www.tpw.it.

Attention, new date: Online seminar with
          star photographer Andreas H. Bitesnich

Professionel photographers are always on the run and so we have to move the webinar with Andreas Bitesnich because he received an urgent request for a shooting.

The famous nude photographer Andreas H. Bitesnich, will be honouring us with his presence on 28 June 2011 for our free online seminar about colour management. We will also be discussing the colour challenges in the photographic workflow together with our professional trainer Oliver.

Andreas H. Bitesnich: "My pictures are highly graphical and I make very little use of accessories in my portraits and nude photography. Everything is greatly reduced. In fact, I seek to reduce my work to the lowest common denominator. In art it's often the case that people are most affected by it when it is pared down to the bare essentials. A key factor in this respect is the total mastery of both light and colour."

We look forward to a fascinating session with Andreas and Oliver. Make an advance booking now!
